the red horse is stalking youOVERCOME THE JOY

Hello everyone! THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS ARE HERE AND NOW I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO *pops*
This week almost nothing happened on school. Or.. we had three 'normal' days. Then later on wednesday, I went to our school's christmas prom. I boycotted going there the last two times, but decided I to give the last one a shot; it's after all the last one with my current school.
It was fun! Even though the food didn't taste a thing, and the music... I'm not going to say more than techno/rap and over-used radiohits. But there were some good ones :'D
On Thursday we went to church. I said a prayer for peace in german.. it didn't turn out that well. I had _no_ idea what I was going to do, except for reading what stood on the paper I was given (I even had to correct it, geeze. WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO) Then I was supposed to light a candle - it took an eternity. Later on, we went back to school and ate some porridge, before watching a norwegian movie called Pitbullterje.
The little boy reminded me a tiny bit of Jonas Bjerre. Maybe it's because he was so puny and had a similar haircut 8)

Today the door to our classroom was closed. Kristian, Esten, Rasmus and Vlad were preparing something. Because you see, we were having breakfast in the classroom : D
It was worth the waiting, they had really outdone theirself. The light was turned off, instead they had lit over two hundred tiny candles. On the teacher's desk they positioned them so they spelt "Merry Christmas" in norwegian (God Jul, respectively)
All the other desks were put togheter so they formed three large tables.
The teachers were really impressed : D
I spent a lot of time running around with my camera on movie mode. It's not that hard to get the esscense of my class on tape, there's always something going on! (Gotta love that bunch)
After the breakfast we went down to the main hall, where all the other students were. Our principal said something about christmas (and himself, as always. You could easily sum his speach up like this; Me, christmas, me, me, me, something christmassy, memememe, you, meeeee), Elisabeth in our class sang "Oh Holy Night" (she was magnificent!), four students lit four candles and we sang a song.

You know what's kinda depressing? Over half of the snow has melted.
I simply love the white layer that covers everything. Sounds, smells... everything is altered in a peculiar way. Now we have this stupid slippery ice. It even _rained_ yesterday. Ice.. turn into the snow you once were, please!
But luckily the temperature is on the negative side of the scale now. Winter is supposed to be chilly, right?

we are not scared

Yesterday was so lax! We got to go home early to work on some project, which didn't take much time at all. Afterwards I concurred the sofa and stayed there almost the rest of the day. I was _so_ close to fall asleep twice. Later, sitting on my bedside I drew a picture. It's not finished, but I quite like the concept. Maybe I'll even develop it further!
While trying to sleep, a lot of thoughts ran through my head. And then there was this character that came knocking on my braindoor. A green chirin-like creature with a flaming orange mane and long black horns.
Kinda annoyed I had to turn the light on again and draw a quick drawing of the concept. It looks like shit, but I remember him, and that is what counts c:

Today's plan was to take pictures which I could use in my blog, but I remembered that waaaay to late. At least I only have one present left to buy now.
First I went with my mother to the mall (Maxi, as it's called) at 11:00, where we split up. We met again after a while and drove home at 14:00. Some hours later I went to see Twilight with André, Elisabeth, Mari, Hanne, Kristian, Esten, Jørgen, Tien, Rasmus and Kenneth. Shoot me if I forgot someone.
I didn't really like the movie. Though it made me barf out of laughter several times when it was supposed to be serious. Come on; vampires that glitter like diamonds in sunlight? I was expecting some transformation into a great beast or something! One of the other vampires looked like he had constantly shit himself in the pants.
I wasn't really that focused on the movie either. To be honest I was a tiny bit annoyed. Right before the movie started we ran to Rema 1000 to buy candy (it's _allot_ cheaper than in the cinema). I couldn't decide what to buy, and since I saw that candy (that you can pick by hand) had the same price per kilo both places, I thought I could hurry and buy some when we returned. Meanwhile I this hot drinks automat caught my attention. 10 kr for hot chocolate! I inserted 20 kr. Then...
There were no cups.
I asked one of the workers, and got a bunch.
Poured one cup.
"The automat does not change."
Oh monkey... well, then I'll just have to take two cups.
BUT NOOO. Freaking machine! c_c
We had run out of time at this moment, because of a long line at the cashier's stand.
I managed to spill almost half of my hot chocolate, and found out that I had used my "four day limit" of money on my card, so I couldn't pay for the ticket. Luckily enough the others had already paid for me (now I owe Kristian 100 kr).

But no worries :3 Only a few days left of school ~

the sprites aren't really hiding at all

I'm freezing my feet of here! It's not getting any warmer either, and I have already lit up the fireplace. On... Tuesday, we had - 15. But to tell the truth I can just barely feel the difference between -6 and -15 8) Maybe I should make me some dinner too. *hungry*
But either way, I'm having a great time now. Christmas holiday is starting soon, and we are _finally_ getting to catch our breath on school. My group's speach about nuclear energy and wind energy totally kicked ass; the teacher was really pleased.
The only thing that's kind of stressing now is christmas presents. I have to many friends x) I guess that's the bad thing about christmas, people stressing with presents. But there's more pleasure when you have do to a effort, right?

I really want a hippo that poops money. How awesome wouldn't that be? A buddy and source of eternal money (as long as he gets his food) always by your side. But the greatest thing ever would that my avian critter, Khanran, was alive 8) *daydreams*
I seriously need to draw some new drawings of him. I did one two days ago, but it's just a pencil sketch. BUT FIRST I'm going to work on my other truckload of ideas. Now the only thing I need is more time.

Quick list over things I have to/want to do:
- Buy presents
- Upload new drawings
- Knit a red scarf
- Finish reading a book by Henning Mankell and make a review
- Read a book about gnomes/dwarfs
- Make a gingerbread house
- Create something out of the modell clay I bought this summer
- Snap some jesuslike photos with my camera
- Learn playing a new song on my guitar
- MUST: Watch The Polar Express on christmas. It's tradition.

Anyway, in a few minutes The Julekalender is starting.

Afterwards we have Jul I Blåfjell : D

the kite is flying

And the snow is dancing! Finally.
This is my first real blog, because I'm currently ignoring my Livejournal account. I'm not really sure what to say, but I have to start somewhere.

hmhmhm..

I get fascinated over things way to easy, and these things go here. Thoughts, ramblings (oh the ORIGINALITY), art, music, writing... anything! At least that is what I _hope_. If I really go through with this whole blogging concept, it's gonna be fun (for me at least) to read this crap in a year's time. I'll be writing english, even if it's not my native language. But don't be suprised if I sometimes turn my back to you and rabble stuff in a secret language called norwegian.

I'm not gonna talk about myself now, because I hate doing so.

And I just want to remind all of you that Christmas is already gobbling on our legs, in every possible way. Television, newspapers and so on. Our city has been decorated with a great christmas tree and lots of small lights. They radiate in a hypnotizing - but cosy, matter. I love walking through the main streets! Especially with the thick carpet of snow that has covered everything by now. (that's one positive side by living up in the north)
I'll be talking more about Christmas later, because now I have work on a powerpoint *flex* What a great time I'm going to have!
